How it works
Setup: To get started I will need an example of your "Typical project". Preferably an electronic cad file with the .ctb or .stb file and a printed copy.
I will use this to set up your "Profile". With this information I create a template file and populate the data files for my lisp routines (text sizes, styles, layer names, etc.).

Projects: Clients can send me work via EMAIL, FTP TRANSFER, FAX, MAIL, or FEDEX.
I can work from sketches, paper drawings, cad drawings, PDF's, DWF's, image scans, floppy disks (3.5 & 5.25), zip disks (100 & 250 meg), CDROMS, and DVD's.

Business Billing:
Drafting Services: I bill at a flat rate of $30.00 per hour (1 hour minimum per calendar day), net 10, billed at completion or weekly on larger projects.
There are never "Overtime Fees". Just the straight billing at $30.00 per hour.
There are no up front costs.
I will bill you upon completion of the project or after the first week. If you are
not satisfied, tell me. I will make it right or you pay nothing (up to the first 32 hours of billing).
You simply drop a check in the mail or request a PayPal invoice.
Customization Services: I bill at a flat rate of $30.00 per hour (1 hour minimum per calendar day), net 10. Lisp customization will be billed
upon delivery with a fully functional, time limited (10 days) compiled lisp file. An uncompiled, no time limit, open code
version will be delivered upon receipt of payment. You simply drop a check in the mail
or request a PayPal invoice. Other forms of customization (i.e. custom menus, tool palettes, tile image menus, scripts, etc.)
require payment prior to receipt of the customization files. Payment can be made by check or you may request a PayPal invoice.
Non-Business (Consumer) Billing:
Drafting Services: I bill at a flat rate of $30.00 per hour (1 hour minimum per calendar day).
House Plans drawn for individuals requires a 30% down payment prior to begining work. Please review detailed billing
information on the house plans page.
All other types of projects require a 50% deposit based on budget number.
Final billing will be $30.00 per actual hours worked less deposit.
Payment can be made by check or you may request a PayPal invoice.

Delivery: Turnover can be as fast as overnight on smaller projects.
I don’t maintain “regular office hours” so I work when I have it which can include overnight and weekends.
I can plot the drawings and send the printed sheets to you. I can fax you 8.5x11 (standard) or 8.5x14 (legal) size sheets.
I can send the AutoCAD dwg file to you via email so you can plot them in house.
I can email a PDF file directly to your blueprinting firm for plotting and delivery to your office.
I can also send PLT's, DWF's, TIFF's and other file formats as required.
I can provide a copy of all files on a CDROM upon completion of a project (by request).

Ownership: You or your client maintains ownership of all drawings and plans that I produce at your direction.
You may provide me with your "Typical Blocks" for use in your drawings and you retain ownership. Otherwise I will use selections from my extensive Library, to which you may use in other drawings but with no claims of "ownership" of the blocks.

Customization: Quite often I will create a lisp routine or other customization to perform certain repetitive tasks needed to produce client drawings. Through the use of this customization the opportunity for error is reduced as well as my billable time. This customization is done on my own time, and I retain ownership of the customization.
If desired the client may purchase specialized customization as a separate service and retain ownership.
I may be contracted for the purpose of producing client specific customization of your AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT software.

Security: If your project requires special security measures I am ready to assist.
I will work under client provided Non-Disclosoure Agreements.
Destruction of all client provided and in house generated work materials (electronic, printed, etc.)
will be performed upon client request.

Warranty: You may request correction of errors at no additional fee for a period of 30 days after delivery.
Liability will be strictly limited to correction and replacement of the electronic files.
The incurred cost of any replacement plots or prints is excluded. Any other costs or expenses are excluded.

Note: I am not an Architect or Engineer. I specialize in AutoCAD drafting for various disciplines.
I work under the direction of licensed Architects, Engineers and/or Contractors.
Any plans drawn for non-licensed individuals need to be reviewed as required by local, or state codes and regulations. |
