pla-gia-rize to take (ideas, writings, etc.) from (another) and pass them off as one's own
Source: Websters New World Dictionary, fourth edition
Summary of events:
I contacted the website owner (Don L Gardner of hvac-contract-draftsman.com) about the plagiarized content as soon as I discovered it.
According to the website owner (Don L Gardner of hvac-contract-draftsman.com) he hired a website designer (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com)
to create his website and had no knowledge of the plagiarism.
When contacted about the plagiarism, the website designer (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com) apologized and
promised to remove the plagiarized content.
What she (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com) did was reorganize, and change some of the text so it is no longer word for word verbatium.
I disagree with the designer (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com) the website still contains plagiarized content. I communicated this to the
website owner (Don L Gardner of hvac-contract-draftsman.com) and his lack of action to completely remove the plagiarized
content from his website shows his complicity in the plagiarism of my content.
Deja Vu from GA ....(2008-04-07)
The latest plagiarist is located less than an hour down the road from me, not very neighborly of him.
This person created his web site on 2008-03-21 according to whois records.
He has changed the text around a bit but it is basicly the same.
The Plagiarist's:

This material has been presented in the order that it appears on his web site, which strangely enough
matches the order in my original content ... imagine that. Finally at the bottom of the page there
is a Copyright notice - all rights reserved. The plagiarist is concerned that someone might copy his content!
My Response ....     My neighbor to the south has visited my site; he has spent some time editing the content that he wanted and then he posted it on his brand new web site as his own. You see what really ticks me off is that I maintain a FREE listing of Freelance AutoCAD Drafters on this site. I average close to 150 visitors a day, most of whom are looking at that free listing. Instead of sending me an email to get listed, he decides to use my website content as his own.
This fellow, like those before him has been contacted via email to remove my content from his web site.
Follow up ....(2008-04-08)
My initial email to the address on the web site regisration bounced back this morning, so I used the email address posted on the web site.
4 hours later I received an email from the owner, (Don L Gardner of hvac-contract-draftsman.com)..."My web site was done by someone else. I will check into it."
31 minutes later I got an email from the person who created the web site, (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com) ..."I do apologize for the content invasion. It is being removed today and I do understand why you are upset. Please do not hold my client responsible for the mistake. It will not happen again to you or anyone else. You have taught a valuable lesson toward original content."
The content is still online at the time of this posting so I will continue to monitor the situation.
As a side note, I visited the designers (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com) web site and there is a single page displaying ..."This site is under construction and will be available soon".
Follow up ....(2008-04-11)
A review of the web site indicates that the Designer (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com) has changed the wording around a little bit but the overall structure and elements are the same. The owner (Don L Gardner of hvac-contract-draftsman.com) and web designer (Jan Meacham of webdesigns-seo.com) have been notified by email that the changes made are not acceptable. Despite emails to both parties no additional changes were made to the web page. Additionally no replies to my emails have been received.
