Deja Vu yet again ....(2007-10-17)     I have once again found content from my web site posted on another web page.
Is there no end to this?
According to Whois info this person is located in Salid, CO.
According to info on the web site, two guys in Salida, CO run the site.

Here is a copy of the content in question:

Hot4CAD - Deja Vu online 3b

Hot4CAD - Deja Vu online 3e

Now compare it to my content:

Hot4CAD - original content 3

Notice the order of statements between the two:
  1. We provide ...
  2. We are based ...
  3. Drafting ... while .. fill a full time drafting position ...
  4. Architect or Engineer ...
  5. Software and hardware issues ...
  6. You focus on design ...

Look at their first sentence ... except for changing "I" to "We", its word for word.
Look at "You focus on the design and let us hadle the drafting." in their content and compare it to mine.
"You can focus on design and let me handle the drafting."
The only original material here is "You will meet your deadlines no matter what time of day or night".

And there's more:

At the bottom of every page they have this:

Hot4CAD - Deja Vu online 4b
Hot4CAD - Deja Vu online 4c                          Hot4CAD - Deja Vu online 4d

Now compare it to my content:

Hot4CAD - Deja Vu online 4

Exactly the same, word for word. Notice the "All rights reserved" portion.
This is a brand new site, they used a web site template (insert your x-content here) and the pages were partially completed.
I wonder how much more of my content they were planning on adding.

My Response ....     This individual and/or his partner has visited my site; they are attempting to present it as their own content.
They have been contacted to remove my content from their web pages.

Follow up ....(2007-10-19)    I received a reply to my second email from one of the two partners ... "Chip, What are you talking about? I just started this website! What is it that you own that I am taking credit for? Please explain. These are words. If you claim to have written the dictionary I can see where its a problem! "

It appears that this individual wants to go the hard way. I replied to his email with the hope that there will be no need to escalate this thing any further. I am prepared to do so if necessary.

Follow up ....(2007-10-21)    I received a reply to todays email from one of the two partners. Here is a portion of that email ..." Ok tough-guy. You have forced me to re-do my website because you own the dictionary!"

A review of their web site reveals all pages displaying "THIS SITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION".

I don't like bing the tough guy, but I was given no choice. And to the next person that decides to copy my content to their web site ... I can be even tougher so don't force it.
