[Q] Who can get listed?
[A] My Freelancer Listing is open to any Freelance AutoCAD Drafter, Freelance Revit Drafter or Freelance Inventor Designer who lives and works in the United States:
[Q] How do I get listed?
[A] Getting listed is very simple. Just answer the following eight (8) questions:
1. Name
2. City, State
3. Phone Number
4. Email Address
5. Web page url or tell me "None"
6. Full or Part Time
7. What software you use (i.e. AutoCAD 2004 or AutoCAD LT 2000 or ADT 3.3)
8. What disciplines you draft (i.e. Structural, Fire Protection, etc . do not tell me "ALL")
[Q] How long will it take to get listed?
[A] Your information will normally be added within 2 weeks.
[Q] I emailed you my information but I didn't get listed on the Freelancer Listing. Why Not?
[A] There are eight (8) questions and you sent me less than eight (8) answers.
One in five emails (20%) are not listed because there are less than eight (8) answers submitted.
[Q] Will you send me an email if my information is incomplete?
[A] No.
I am doing this for free. Take your time and do it right, otherwise I am just going to delete your email.
[Q] How was my information incomplete?
2. City, State - This is where you live. (1 city/state)
3. Phone Number - This is the phone number where you can be reached by potential clients. (1 phone number)
4. Email Address - This is where potential clients can send you an email. (1 email address)
5. Web Page - This is url where potential clients can read anything you want to tell them. (1 web address)
6. Full Time or Part Time - You are either Full or Part Time. (1 answer)
7. What software you use - You must use an AutoDesk product. (AutoCAD-Revit-Inventor)
8. What disciplines you draft - What kind of drafting experience do you have.
[A] Lets review the questions:
1. Name - This is your real name. (1 name)
This is a listing for Freelancers not businesses. You can have a business but I only list individuals.
Working with a buddy? You must submit seperate listing requests for each person.
It does not limit the cities or states where you provide drafting services.
You can provide services to the entire world via the internet, but you live in one location.
You can not list a home number and cell number. Pick one.
No you can not list a fax number. There isn't a column on the listing for fax numbers. Put it on your web page.
I advise against using a company email address if you are looking for Freelance work while employed with a company.
The email notification that you have been listed will be generated by hitting the "REPLY" button on your email.
Do not send me an email from email address "A" and ask me to send the notification to email address "B".
You do not have to have a web page, just tell me "None" here.
Do not tell me that you are planning on creating one soon. You either have a web address to list or the answer is "None".
Your web page must be open to public viewing without "Joining" a social networking website.
This one seems to cause the most confusion.
Your are one or the other, not both.
You are not applying for a job. You are saying "I provide Freelance Drafting Services to others on a full time" OR "part time basis".
There are only two (2) choices ... "Full Time" OR "Part Time".
Come up with a creative third choice and you WILL NOT be listed.
Note: AutoDesk is the company that makes AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor software.
Free free to replace the term "AutoDesk Product" with "AutoCAD" if it makes you more comfortable.

In addition to the AutoDesk product you may list additional software used for drafting services.
I will not list software not used for drafting services. Examples: You can list Google SketchUp. You can not list your webpage software.
I only list the newest version of any product. If you have AutoCAD R14 and AutoCAD 2009 I will only list the AutoCAD 2009.
Since AutoCAD 2009 can "Save As" R14 the other is redundant.
This question refers to what software you have installed on your computer.
Do not tell me what software you know how to use if it is not installed and available for use.
You need to provide a list of your drafting disciplines. Examples: Architectural, Structural, Fire Protection.
Do not tell me "All".
Do not send me a long narative about working closely with clients to provide superior service.
You can flower it all you want on your web page. I want simple, short and concise answers.
Simply send me answers to the eight (8) questions and you will be listed.
Do not send me resumes, long naratives, pdf brocures etc.
Do not tell me how long you have been drafting or where you have been doing it.
Just send me eight (8) answers to eight (8) questions.
[Q] I didn't get listed. Can I resubmit with the correct eight (8) answers?
[A] Yes.
[Q] If I get on your Freelancer Listing, will you send me work?
[A] No.
I just place your information on the listing.
This provides an opportunity for potential clients to find you.
On occassion I do offer overflow work to others on the list.
[Q] Do you keep statistics on how much work your listing generates?
[A] No. Since Clients contact Freelancers directly there is no way for me to know that.
However, I do get emails from Freelancers telling me that they are getting work.
[Q] Why don't you list Freelancers located outside of the USA?
[A] I do not collect a fee for this service. For this reason I have limited the scope of my listing.
If it was not limited I would be spending hours maintaining a listing of Freelancers from around the world.
[Q] Why don't you list Freelancers that use software other than AutoDesk products?

If it was not limited I would be spending hours maintaining a listing of numerous software brands and types.
[Q] I use an AutoDesk Product but I also use a non AutoDesk product, can I get listed?
