AutoCAD Structural Drafting:
I can match your structural drafting standards or if you want, we can set up a new set of standards for your structural drawings.
My experience with structural drafting includes cmu, wood frame, steel frame, tilt wall, pre-cast, hollow core and post tension. I have written and/or obtained numerous lisp programs specifically for the task of structural drafting. These include weld symbols, rebar symbol placement, special arrow lines, and creation of footing lines. Do you or your drafters spend allot of time offsetting wall lines, then changing the layers to create footing lines? I do it in two clicks of the mouse. I maintain a current copy of the Simpson Block Library. USP doesn't have one that allows placement of a single, specific connector so I am in the process of building one. I have a copy of Al Rogers Steel Shapes utility. I have an extensive AutoCAD Structural Block and Details Library. My book library includes such titles as Simpson Catalog, USP Catalog, Vulcraft Catalogs, and AISC Manual of Steel Construction.
